My name is Joyce Wu. I am currently a 1st-year graduate student studying Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech. As an undergraduate, I studied Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas. Before coming to Tech, I had worked in the project management field at a security service and a manufacturing company for more than three years.
In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, exchanging ideas with people, traveling, playing instruments, and making music, stories, and art. I was born to be a curious and open-minded person who enjoys exploring different possibilities and solutions to existing problems. Throughout the learning and work experience, I have learned to empathize with people who think differently than I do.
I highly value humanity. Therefore, being able to help people increase the quality of their life by improving the user experience of digital and physical products is especially fulfilling to me.
